Intelli-Pro Air Purifier
Vs.
"Ionic BreezeTM Quadra"
The Intelli-Pro drastically outperforms the
Ionic Breeze in clinical tests, and
offers several functional advantages, thanks to six air purification
technologies.
Plus, the Intelli-Pro offers advanced sensor technology, not found in the Ionic
Breeze.
Despite all this, the Multi-Tech is still less expensive.

** Based on clinical testing by independent lab. The toxin tested was
Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), which is a toxic gas, and one of the most
difficult-to-remove contaminates. An air purifier's ability to remove H2S
is very indicative of its ability to remove chemicals, odors and other
contaminates.

Clinical Test Results
More Effective, But Cost Less!
In recent
laboratory tests, the Intelli-Pro air purifier outperformed the Ionic Breeze
across the board, in extremely convincing fashion. In both the toxin removal
test and smoke particle removal test, the disparity in results between the two
air purifiers was drastic.
Hydrogen Sulfide (a.k.a. "Sewer Gas")
Test
Hydrogen
Sulfide (H2S), a strong gas created by stagnant sewage, is one of
the very worst, and most difficult-to-remove pollutants known to man. An air
purifier's ability to remove H2S is a good indication of its
ability to remove strong odors and volatile organic chemicals (VOCs). In this
test, the Intelli-Pro proved to be 98% effective, while the Ionic Breeze was
only 13% effective.
Smoke Particle Removal Test
In a recent
study, the Intelli-Pro air purifier and the Ionic Breeze were each tested for
their ability to remove particles in a 128 cubic foot chamber. The Intelli-Pro
removed better than 99.9% after just 15 minutes, while the Ionic Breeze
removed just 43% after 27 minutes.

Particle Removal
High-Efficiency Filters are Much More Effective.
The reason
the Intelli-Pro is much more effective than the Ionic Breeze, is due to the
fact that it features a high-efficiency particle filter (HEPA). HEPA filters
are widely considered the most effective type of filter against solid
particles, such as dust and allergens. The Intelli-Pro also has an electronic,
or electrostatic filter like the Ionic Breeze, but with greater surface area.

Destruction of Micro-Organisms
Germicidal
UV lamps are the most effective air purification tool available for
destroying micro-organisms such as germs, viruses, bacteria and mold. The
Ionic Breeze Quadra does not offer this added germicidal protection, but the
Ionic Breeze GP does. The Ionic Breeze GP is priced at $499.

Fan versus No Fan
Greater Air Flow Means Greater Effectiveness.
The Ionic
Breeze is fan-less, making it virtually silent. The Intelli-Pro uses a fan
that is fairly quiet (especially on the Quiet setting), making it
effective at drawing a high volume of particulate through its filters.
The fan also circulates the negative ions much more thoroughly
throughout a room or area compared to a fan-less ionic air purifier.

Chemical & Odor Removal
The
Intelli-Pro also features an activated carbon filter, the most effective
type of filter available for trapping chemicals, gases, cigarette smoke and
other odors. The Ionic Breeze does not offer anything like this, as
evident by its poor performance in the toxin removal testing (13% removal
compared to 98% removal rate by the Intelli-Pro).

Sensor Technology
In addition
to the impressive collection of air purification methods found in the
Intelli-Pro, it also offers unprecedented diagnostic capabilities, none
of which are found in the Ionic Breeze. First, it's sensor technology monitors
the air quality, so you know just how clean or polluted the air really is.
Second, it tells you the type of pollutants found in the air. Furthermore, it
tells you when filters need to be replaced, and when the metal, electronic
dust collector needs to be cleaned.

Ion Output
The Negative Ion Advantage of the
Intelli-Pro Air Purifier.
The
Intelli-Pro produces air-cleaning
negative ions, while
the Ionic Breeze Quadra air purifiers produce only very low amounts. The
air-cleaning benefits of negative ions are well understood and established in
the scientific community.

Noise
The Ionic
Breeze is virtually silent, but the Intelli-Pro is still very quiet,
especially on the "Quiet" setting. However, the silence advantage of the Ionic
Breeze does little to compensate for the major advantages the Intelli-Pro has
in performance and diagnostics. This is especially true when you consider that
the Intelli-Pro is no bother at all when it comes to sound.

Power Consumption
You still get the benefit of low cost of
ownership!
The
Intelli-Pro air purifier uses just 80 watts of electricity on the highest
setting, and much less on the lower settings, equating to just a few bucks or
so a month in electricity costs. The Ionic Breeze uses just 10 watts, making
it even more energy efficient. In which case, you may save a few dollars or so
per month in electricity usage with the Ionic Breeze, yet it is still far less
effective than the Intelli-Pro.

Cost
Get two much more for your money with the Intelli-Pro
Despite the
resounding advantages the Intelli-Pro offers in terms of performance and
diagnostic capabilities, it costs $50 less than the Ionic Breeze. The
Intelli-Pro air purifier does have the HEPA/activated carbon air filter
combination cartridge that typically needs to be replaced about once per year,
but it costs just $40 per replacement. The Intelli-Pro's UV lamp costs just
$15 to replace, and will also last about one year.
